Tennis Hot Shots is a program for kids underpinned by learning through play philosophy. Smaller courts and racquets plus softer balls make learning skills easier and lots of fun. The BLUE, RED, ORANGE, GREEN and YELLOW stages offer a clear pathway.

The Hot Shots Program, particularly the modified equipment, allows children to start rallying, learning the basic skills required for tennis and have fun right, from their first lesson. Each level has been designed to develop children’s skills and confidence. Simply the best introduction to tennis and learning skills for life.

Blue Stage is the first level in the Hot Shots Program for pre-school or school aged children. It is the next step up from the Humpty Multi-Sports program. Designed to instil a love of tennis and physical activity through tennis drills and games, this program focuses on the fundamentals of stroke mechanics, body coordination, spatial awareness, group interaction, self-confidence and fun!!

Red Ball is the first level in the Hot Shots Program for school aged children. It is the next step up from the Humpty Multi-Sports program. Designed to instil a love of tennis and physical activity through tennis drills and games, this program focuses on the fundamentals of stroke mechanics, body coordination, spacial awareness, group interaction, self-confidence and fun!!

Orange Ball is the next step up from Red Ball and is designed to build on the foundation skills developed in Red Ball and to continue to foster a love of tennis and physical activity. This level focuses on the development of technique, the ability to rally, body coordination, challenge & concentration as well as group interaction, self-confidence and lots of fun!

Green Ball is the next step up from Orange Ball and the stage at which players move to a full size court. The level is designed to consolidate technique and swing patterns, develop game tactics for singles and doubles play and an understanding of the rules and types of competition. Players new to tennis at this level are also well catered for and start by learning the basics of the game.

Yellow Ball is the next step up from Green Ball. Having different levels of Yellow Ball allows us to develop further all the important skill areas of competition players (Top Gun) and to cater for those looking for a more social tennis experience. Even if you are just starting out in the game there are classes to suit you.
